Yes Mata was a much better player at Chelsea but he had much better players around him....
"The special one"....likes players who work the channels both ways and tackle back...Mata isnt one of these and that why he didnt fit into the plans this season.
I like Mata and was one who thought he should have played more but he just doesnt seem to have made an impact at OT yet.
With some decent signings maybe we will see the real Mata next year....
