I thought Groves was exceptional and was rightly ahead when the fight was stopped..
I had him 2 or maybe 3 rounds ahead in what was a difficult fight to score after the first two rounds...
But the stoppage is the talking point ....
A lot of people have said the ref shouldnt have stopped it but.....
About 10 seconds before the stoppage the commentator said Groves legs had gone after taking a big right hand and he was stumbling a bit before Froch hit him again with three great punches..
Groves i think would have been on the canvass if the ref had not stepped in and although he might have got up the fight would have been over within another round if not before.
When Benn fought Eubank the first time in Birmingham Benn was stopped on his feet by Richard Steele and was never down...Eubank was down a round earlier.....See the end here....

As for a rematch.....Why not.
But i think Froch will now know what to expect this time and i see him starting a lot quicker and finishing Groves within 6 rounds should they meet again.
