Default Kaz ---The Game of Poker !!

You are a very good player, the thing you need to think about is stepping up your game. By that i mean, more selective to what you play and probably up the level you play at !!
I'm not sure that playing 4-6 tournaments( or more a day) is a good idea. I know players like "Daddymac" and "wildrick"(on Ladbrokes) play 8 tourneys at at a time but how mentally destroying is that ?? OK, they are going for the big payout at the end of the year but even "Daddymac" stopped playing last year after September when he was clear of the field.
As you know, I'm a grizzly old f..ker but I've been playing this game since 'God was a boy', both live and in recent years on the Internet !!
When i started playing it was in local cash games about 8 of us played
half-pot 7 card stud, back in the 80's and we used to really have the craic, the money used to go around in the main, some were consistent losers but they could afford it so everyone was happy
Then i got to hear of tournament 7 card stud being played in Luton !! (remember this was before Internet Poker)

So me and my best mate (Rod Boland god rest his soul) started playing on a regular basis twice a week their and once a week in our cash game, and in the main we were winning. Then Hold-em started to make a big impact in the casino's and the yanks started to come over and the explosion happened and we all had to catch up on the new game quick.
I was and still am good friends with Mike McGee, Top pro through the 90' and early 2000's and here's where we start to understand the Ups and Down of poker. I know most of the old poker pros some still do the circuit, some just play local but i meet up with them from time to time and we all agree the same thing, 'this game can burn you out' the same as any other sport, if you play to much football or athletics or poker you start to get jaded and lose 'the edge' and in poker the 'edge is the difference between winning and losing cash !!
So is the same with Internet poker, ive been where you are feeling disillusioned about the game but 'for things to change you must change'
I would strongly recommend playing only ONE Multi-tournament a day, pick one that excites you, if you need to play more play some STT's through the day or low stakes cash but most of all get away from your 'pc' for a while take some breaks during the day
Finally remember poker is a game of skill however luck has a way of knocking your confidence in your own ability and that's when you have to take a break from the game, a week or two and come back fresh.
Ultimately there are casualties players cant come back and give the game up but if you pace yourself, you'll start to enjoy the game again.
Try if you can to get to a casino and play a live tournament, it will spice the game up again for you, i sometimes get down but i never now lose the 'buzz'!!
good luck , kiddo your a good player just learn to play less and enjoy more benny
