After making the move back to LADBROKES from SkyPoker over a week ago, with some small success, (2nd and 5th in two MTT's)
I've been looking around the site this last couple of days and you have to say LADBROKES have come a long way UP since their new software upgrade .....
What is most impressive is their Tournament schedule and the variety of different tournaments with satellites for two up and coming Irish live events .
Also there is the opportunity to play for a seat on their next CRUISE 1V in early 2011 and I'm also informed to "watch this space" for further events
Why the move away from SkyPoker ? Well , why not ?
Numbers are down, and they have been promising a 'down-loadable' site for nearly a year now but still no sign , so,
to play there off your server makes the site slow with many disconnections ..
Also many players have been building 'player points ' over the years but cant cash them in, the points can only be used to play in small #50' free-rolls, and that is where LADBROKES can be congratulated not only can their points be cashed in, but also can be used as entry to cash tournaments ...
Then there is the 'bronze' 'silver' 'gold' 'VIP' free-rolls once a month for player points amassed ..
So, 'all in all' there's no comparison .... If I'm going to ride down the M1, do I want ride in an "De Lorean" or peddle like f#ck on a 'bicycle with a puncture' ????
Hello Ladbrokes
Sorry SkyPoker but you need to look at your expenditure and whats more important your customers who are leaving faster than passengers trying to get off the 'Titanic' before it sinks, or your TV Analyst's getting free-bee- trips to the WSOP in the summer
It's sad because there were some really nice people playing there, I hope some turn up here at talksportforums.com or maybe Ladbrokes Poker !!
