Tonight at the 'Grosvenor Victoria Club' London .The UK poker championship, "7 card stud" pot limit event :cool: !! ....I'm off there soon so, I'll post tomorrow and let you know how we get on.. I know the Hendon Mob and Macel Luske are among the runners and hope my ol mate Mick McGee is there as well............:loveme:

What a Great Tournament this was !!
 

Well we never made the money but "Steve" and i had a great night at the "Vic" meeting a lot of old friends and some great players who, all agreed what a great game and welcome change '7card pot limit' is.!!:brains:
As i sat down i found i had (ex Ladbrokes player) 'Greekfish' Andy on my right. as they broke a table we were joined by ' Barny Boatman' and then 'Willie Tann' :'D..So plenty of banter ..
The funniest moment was when 'Barny Boatman' was dealt an Ace (high card to open the betting), He opened with the minimum bet ..all passed to the player on my right who min raised, ...Barny called... 4th street gives Barney another Ace..him to bet ...he checks and so to player 2.... 5th street both get a rag ... both check... 6th street both get a rag... Now barney decides to make a small bet 1300 .. player 2 passes..........Uproar as Barney shows Quads:eek!: first 4 cards :'D
