The Wednsday/Thursday deepstack..
$50 entry over two days with 70 odd runners has just kicked off again on Laddies...
Tried the sat this afternoon but only one place and after nearly two hours finished second...:'D so had to buy in... Not a bad start when my AK on a board of 955k7 got me 5000 chip thanks to Gavinalways bluffing the pot with his 23 os.....8-P Tough table though with Visa 2005, paulscott,Cantona2243 and of course Gavinalways on it.. Looks another good game though and hopefully a cash finish in this one after my 15th place in the last..B (: |
tough night..
Well still in at the break but didnt think i would be with half hour left and down to 3500 chips..
Lost 4 big hands all on the river and if two or three of them had held i would have been top three.....:bounce: Never managed to get above 14k and now back to 8500 which is about 3500 below average and in 23rd place with 35 odd left. If i can get a good start tomorrow then who knows.....:hi: But all in all with the two tables i was on im happy to have survived to fight another night....:t: |
Not the best of starts...
Down to 5k after only three hands but sat tight and got to 7k at the first break..
A couple of decent hands put me up to 10k and was in 18th place with 25 left... Got moved and didnt start that table too well and was 20th out of 22... Then got pkt kings an they held on a board of...QJ996 to give me 13k.. Then holding pkt 2s floped a 2 and now on 21k and 11th of 18.... but just got pkt aces and up to 34k now and 7th with 16 left.....:cool: A rollercoaster of a night...:eek!: |

yep 15 left now and i reckon about an hour till the final table the way the chips are...in 8th at the mo but nicely clear of 11th and not to far away from 4th..
Just sitting tight and see what develops... |

pocket jacks...i double the bb to 1600 on limper the chippy...flop 638 he bets 2500 i call ..turn k both check river 6 he bets 6k i call to see his .....64.....:C

These small raises will get you into trouble, nothing wrong with his call on the big blind. Low stacked players may fold to a min raise but with his stack its an auto call.

Table.....thats why i didnt raise big....dont worry though now i know he plays shit i will get him....
