Can Tottenham take the title ?
Tottenham cut for the Premier League title _ :news: (April 16 2017)
Tottenham were cut to 9/2 by Sky Bet for the Premier League title following Chelsea's defeat at Manchester United on Easter Sunday. Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera scored the only goals of the game as Antonio Conte's side suffered their fifth defeat of the campaign and they are now 1/6 to be crowned champions having gone into the Easter weekend at odds of 1/25. Spurs are 9/2 second-favourites and now sit just four points off the leaders following their impressive home win over Bournemouth on Saturday. United enhanced their chances of finishing inside the top four and they are 7/2 to do just that. Jose Mourinho's side have two games in hand over third-placed Liverpool, who edged past West Brom 1-0 on Sunday, and a single game in hand over Manchester City. Winning their games in hand would put the Red Devils equal on points with Liverpool, though their goal difference is slighly less impressive than their big rivals. Jurgen Klopp's men shortened to 1/9 to cling onto their top-four place, with Arsenal, who face a trip to Middlesbrough on Monday, now out to 12/1 to get into the mix having slipped below Everton in the table. |
