Yes , it's great fun this league, for a $5 game, surprising how good the standard is.
There were a couple of pro's on that final table, Bruce (who one it) and Sam Razzini, both going to the WSOP next month !!:cool: Still well played you again  |
Don't Forget and Also !!
Don't forget it's the 3rd round leg of the league again tonight Tuesday 5th/6/12 o:D
Also ~ How's this for more value just for playing on Black Belt Poker !! Strike Gold with the Vegas Prize Fund :loveme: Find out how you can bask in the glory of the Black Belt Poker pros in this year's WSOP Main Event. "Show Me Da Money!" The World Series of Poker is underway with several events already done and dusted. Whilst some of you will be lucky enough to witness poker's biggest event firsthand, the majority of us will be following the action from the confines of our laptop monitors and dreaming of partaking in next year's festivities. If you fall into the latter category, then we've got some great news: this year, we're giving you the opportunity to play the Series vicariously through our pros and enjoy their success from the comfort of your own armchair. For the $10,000 Main Event, we'll be injecting 2% of any winnings into a Vegas Prize Fund, which will then be shared equally amongst our most loyal players. To get your piece of the Black Belt pie, all you have to do is earn or maintain your Orange Belt by July 1. It's that simple. For example, if the Black Belt Poker team win a total of $250,000, $5,000 will go into the Prize Fund. If there are 200 eligible Orange Belts and above, each player will be awarded $25 (5,000/200) absolutely free! If there are only 100 eligible, then that figure becomes $50, and so on. "It kills me to have to give away two percent," ;) commented 2008 Irish Open Champion Neil Channing, "as I really think that one of players could go all the way this year and win the Main Event. But we're going to do it anyway as a thank you to those who play regularly on the site." Last year, we focused on side events and gave away $72.70 to 127 players, courtesy of Warren Wooldridge's third place finish in Event #54 for $288,946. With the Main Event offering survivors millions in prize money, you could be the recipient of even more free money! There is no other way of purchasing a share, so this offer is exclusive to Black Belt Poker players. What's more, we'll be keeping you updated on the website with the latest news and action from the Rio as and when it happens. This is a truly plus EV opportunity, that could potentially serve up a tasty payday. With the likes of Neil Channing, Sam Razavi and Jamie Burland, the team is bubbling with more talent than ever before, and we have high hopes of a positive return on investment, and maybe even a shiny, gold bracelet. And with the Vegas Prize Fund, you can share in their success. All you have to do is maintain your Belt and reap the rewards. Just get there and play poker, use sign up code , jossewales , it will help your points through the first month ~ good luck ~ Be there to be in it !!! B (: |

Quick update of last nights league on Black Belt Poker
Dave (livinginhope2) was very unlucky when short stacked to see his 'all-in' bet of around 10bb's, get called in two seats !! Dave shows Q Q, other players show 10 8 and A J ~~ Flop 10 8 4, turn blank, river Ace . :-C Talk about sick, if the first one got him wounded , the second one finished him off !! Still he may be still top or at least in the top three, I think around 50 pts last night ~~ Oh just one other thing, my mate Lee (mackem) made the final table to finish around 6th/7th ~ But none could stop the outlaw "Josse Wales" o:D from shooting up the final table and take down the game around midnight :t: Full report at the weekend |
oh Dave
if your there, dont forget the orange belt Freeroll tonight Wed at 7 30

thanks taylormade and benny for the good luck, gonna need it to get back 31 points so no girly play as taylor put it and going to give it a good go. no need to sit out on my account benny, would love to see you win it again.

Currently in 2nd place with 17.800 chips . :loveme: I've been watching for about the last hour or so, and from grinding away with a small stack he's climbed back in there and played like a champ that he deserves to be ~ glk matey :clap: o:D |

Final leg 8 result !!
'FalconAyr' Flies Away With League XV
12 July 2012 snoopy Orange Belt Stephen 'FalconAyr' Dickson :clap:wins Black Belt Poker League XV by just one point. Earlier this week, Orange Belt Stephen FalconAyr Dickson became the latest Black Belt Poker League Champion when he pipped David livinginhope2 Hall :clap:by just a single point to secure the title. League XV saw a total of 153 players compete for the honour, with 87 stumping up the $5+0.50 buy-in fee for the eighth and final leg. The lineup was as illustrious as always, with the likes of League XIV Champion Craig ChipRead77 McKelvie and reigning Nottingham Live Champion Stuart The Dyson Hyson vying to go out in style. However, with just one leg remaining, only a handful of players could capture the crown and finish on top. Despite final table finishes from Ken NPStars1 Johnston and Phillip PhilDee64 Dronfield, FalconAyr's 22nd place finish meant it was close, but not cigar for the aforementioned members of the chasing pack. The pressure therefore lay solely on the shoulders of livinginhope2, who needed a minimum third place finish in order to overtake his nemesis at the death. However, disaster struck when he departed in fourth, leaving him just one point short of FalconAyr who could now breathe a welcome sigh of relief and celebrate his victory. Meanwhile, the final bragging rights went to Jonathan tandy26 Tandy whose third consecutive final table improved to first place and a $130.52 payday. His triumph over runner-up Shaun TableKnight Herran-Venables means he's snapped up the final seat in next week's Second Chance SNG featuring all leg winners, the last man standing of which will receive a free Nottingham Live seat worth $200+20. 1st tandy26 -- $130.52 2nd TableKnight -- $87.00 3rd nicenutter -- $54.37 4th livinginhope2 -- $41.32 5th Yosemity2207 -- $32.62 6th themackem1968 -- $26.10 7th Elysiumjay -- $21.75 8th shaolin4aces -- $17.40 9th NPStars1 -- $13.05 10th PhilDee64 -- $10.87 The final standings saw eight Orange Belts and two Yellow make the final 10, with the positions of the top six remaining unchanged from the week prior, despite the last-leg drama. 1st FalconAyr (630 points) -- Nottingham Live Package & Personalised Hoodie 2nd livinginhope2 (629 points) -- 1,000 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($30+3) 3rd PhilDee64 (590 points) -- 800 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($30+3) 4th NPStars1 (581 points) -- 700 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($15+1.50) 5th ryang3691 (573 points) -- 600 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($15+1.50) 6th TeeDeeEye1 (541 points) -- 500 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($5+0.50) 7th eixip50 (516 points) -- 400 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($5+0.50) 8th 13kendo13 (515 points) -- 300 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($5+0.50) =9th 7onyB (502 points) -- 150 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($5+0.50) =9th lionrampant27 (502 points) -- 150 Belt Points & Notts Live token ($5+0.50) 11th Barty1uk (475 points) 12th liquidpoker101 (473 points) 13th Touagorimou (452 points) 14th tandy26 (451 points) 15th habbad (448 points) 16th Bartukbb (442 points) 17th omnipokerist1 (436 points) 18th nickhem1 (431 points) 19th S0lution (430 points) 20th nakgeele4 (425 points) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As always, there was plenty of other action for players to get their teeth into this week, in particular with the Nottingham Live satellites which kicked off on Monday with a $15+1.50 freezeout. He, and four others, all received added Belt Points for their efforts. 1st S0lution -- $101.25 (50 Belt Points) 2nd TheSimian -- $67.50 (30 Belt Points) 3rd losbert40 -- $33.75 (10 Belt Points) 4th 4KSuited -- $22.50 (5 Belt Points) 5th paul6543 (10 Belt Points) It's been a great league season, which, not for the first time, ended on a photo finish. But the fun isn't over; on August 30 we're holding our second $10,000 GTD Samurai, and you can qualify tonight at 20:00 in our weekly super satellite. The game is No Limit Hold'em, and there will be one seat guaranteed into the $250+25 Main Event. And for our newer players, there's the Yellow Belt No-Lose Deepstack at the same time. well played Dr Livingstone, I think Bennys sleeping with Neil Channing or maybe he just likes getting lost in Nottingham as he always gets there for the tourney, its worth making the extra effort to get there as thay seemed a good bunch of guys and the prize is well worth winning. I might be down that way when the tourneys on and will call in to DTD to cheer you both on and buy you a shandy, goodluck.
