ladbrokes poker

been playing a bit lately, playing pretty tight,I have noticed alot of wot i call dodgey flops, was wondering as alot of regulars are away playing sailor on the cruise, have laddies pressed a magic button to give us that are left behind a laff and create a bit of extra interest in their site ? where are you herbie ? have you found another site worth playing ?

Tony2005 January 19th, 2011 17:37

In my opinion Laddies has always favoured the "Action" flops...

Still recovering from killer man flu, and one thing I am trying to do this year is not to play when I am drunk (well this one may not happen), ill or tired. recently found myself looking for spots to lose all my chips so I can go to bed. i am pretty sure this is a losing play in the long or short term? Anyway, not playing unless I can be sure that I will be awake for four to five hours.

its interesting that you think that with the cruisers away that your win switch has ben turned on, during the very first cruise (this is number 4) I had my best week ever on laddies (not for most won, but for number of cashes) and I did think the same then. i will be playing later this week and hope to prove it true!

only1herbie January 19th, 2011 17:47

oh, i have been playing bet365 (ipoker) its quite good. lots of $10 - $20 mtts in the evening which get less than 200 runners and finish before midnight. plus its softer than laddies. not playing here tonight for the same reason as above.

I'm laughing, but not amused :C The site we were supposed to play the Bad Beat Poker league on "Poker Time eu" .. Well as i had made a small deposit £40 to play the first event (now cancelled) I thought I'd give it a spin up.. The software is exactly the same as Ladbrokes.. Anyways play up the £40 turned it into £70 on Monday night, then saw there was a 6 seater £20 re-buy starting at 10 00pm so I thought .. yea give it a whizz up..
Anyway long story short , made the final table and finished FOURTH collecting £840 o:D But i finished at 4.15am and had to get up for work at 7 15am (fck me was i knackered when i finished) ..
Right i think, withdraw £500 (Tuesday morning)and leave the rest as a 'bankroll' ... Just gone on the site again and found they had reversed the withdrawal and it's back in my poker account ???? WHAT THE FCK IS THAT ALL ABOUT ??
As I said, I'm laughing but not amused with there rules and regs about banking ... I probably wont be playing the league if they piss about with withdrawals like this ... :storm:

Ahh the old security issue no doubt. Banking is the main reason I keep my poker playing to just a few sites, had a nightmare with Mansion a few years ago (in fact i never withdrew any money via direct routes & probably still money in there).

Its funny but I was the same - I deposited £100 - Turned it into £150 with S&Gs, then played a bit of cash and could not do anything wrong - up to £300 - Then bad cash run - down to £180 - played a multi tourney (the 1-2-3) and finished 3rd out of 600 runners - up to £330, played cash - Could not hit a barn door with a pea shooter - Every 1/2 outter that the other player needed - they hit. I was in front 90% of the time my money went in. Anyway, down to £200. Got fed up last night and cashed out.

I will restart - (might even give Black Belt a go) just tired of spending hours grinding in a tourney to loose it in 90 minutes at cash. It would be nice to have a site that was tourney only, but guess there is not that much money in it for a site to do that.

I had no problems withdrawing the cash Benny?

Lee

bennythedip2 January 19th, 2011 21:48

Well

What Ive done is, filled out the withdraw again £500, on banking it say i have £300 left (Which is right at this point, same thing as Tuesday) Played a tourney (£20..no good in that) Anyway played some cash to build up the player points, cause maybe that was the reason :h?: won £40 so we'll see what happens Friday, as to whether they let the banking go through OR put it back into my online account !! sigh :'D

And Lee, At the moment I'm loving Black Belt Poker , I know it's 'ipoker' and some people dont like it's the same as Bet365 ..BUT what I've found their banking is superbe. Money's in my bank account in 2-3 days ..same as all the Bookmaker/poker sites ...
Don't forget if you go there , enter rec-co code ' jossewales' it's good for you and me ..B (:

Beginning to feel normal again now (shocking yesterday, but I think it was a secondary 24 hour illness type thing) so I hope to make a return to poker tonight, see you on the final table of the €20 on laddies, plus a couple of ipoker games. I may even crack open a bottle of wine, drunk virtually nothing this year yet.

taylormade January 21st, 2011 17:23

thought you were going to say I was cruising in the carribean, observing the scantily clad ladies, then you spoil the story with an unlucky river card event.

taylormade January 22nd, 2011 23:10

well played herbie, its 95% luck at that stage, you came back well a few times,I have no excuse for my play, shouldnt have called raise pre-flop,and my all-in was pathetic as i knew limerick boy had bigger kicker.Im still the champion tho,3rd places dont count. Try again next week, gl

only1herbie January 23rd, 2011 05:07

thanks m8, 3rd is quite good for a game that I never got a chip stack of any note until we were down to 3.

A J from early position - have you learned a lesson there?

Tired, thats a sick way to lose. I hate it when you know its going to come.

taylormade January 23rd, 2011 11:41

I knew it was wrong when i called before the flop, not sure why i called the raise, boredom, the a-j looked pretty, our lass was moaning about not paying her any attention,I could of sat and made final table but thats not the taylormade way,Im trying to be more solid in my play at that stage, but when i see suited cards it excites me and i struggle not to see flop, I can accept seeing the flop, but my all-in against a player I knew had me out-kicked and the chip leader who could of had anything[trips] was terrible play and didnt need to be done and was very poor play, unfortunately I will probably do same thing again, but not next week as the pain of that play will last for a few days. Im not a live and learn type of bloke, this my strength and my failure.
