Just watched Englands presentation of the bid...
Have to say ...Beckham and Cameron were both superb as infact everyone who took part in it was...:clap::clap: After watching that its obvious that we have the best football has to offer and it would be a travisty (or fix) for us not to get this now... The only thing that made me laugh was when it was said our transport syatem is one of the best in the world.....:eek!: Obviously the last few days wasnt taken into consideration when making that comment....o:D EVEN money England to win the bid..... Qatar won the bid to host the 2022 world cup....:h?:
Average temp there in July is 115 degrees......Not many sports you can play in that heat and football isnt one... The funny thing is that in 2 years time the FIFA president Sepp Blatter is up for re-elaction and the only other runner is from Qatar....Now that seems a little strange... My only explanation is that....The 2014 world cup is being held in Brazil who have made things clear they might not be able to honour that commitment now and FIFA know they will have to make late changes... The only country that could host a world cup tomorrow is ENGLAND so all might not be lost yet... |

Its a funny world,surely everyone knows events of this nature are pre-determined,my brother asked me in summer if I wanted tickets for world cup in 2022,I said strange question,he said he had been offered a box by a client in Doha,we shouldnt bother entering the world cup again,We are always shyte anyway and I always lose money,would rather we started scotland,wales,ireland,england games again.

Its common practice in most countries thats buisnesses offer incentives to clients for giving them work,be it a bottle of whisky at christmas or corporate tickets to a sporting event,I understand the amounts involved are extreme,but the reward of getting the world cup must be worth tens of millions aswell as the benefit to that country in terms of development,Its a human trait to want something for nothing,good luck to Russia and Qatar if we had won the bid,the costs would of escalated from a billion to 3 billion,I wonder where that 2 billion would of gone ? back pockets of politicians and other corrupt and dishonest bankers and buisnessman,our country is worst than most,atleast the russians and arabs dont try to hide the fact they can be bought.
