Tonights $50 Deepstack....
That was a tough first evening......:eek!:
i was card dead for over two hours and down to 2700 chips going into the last hour... But pkt queens then beating Actionjacks AQ with my AK kicker put me onto 9k.. won another couple towards the end to finish on...12219 and 15th out of the remaining 33...and just under average chips so very happy going into day 2...:D Only1herbie is going very well and has been around the top ten since the first hour....finishing day1 with 22100 and 8th place behind the chippy who has 41,000 Well played Herbie..:clap: hopefully we will be on the final table come tomorrow night...B (: |

I quite enjoyed it even though i never got above 14k and was card dead for most of last night. There was a few iffy plays but on the whole i thought the standard was very good. Yours must have been eventful as one minute you were on 40k the next back to 18k... But a good 6th place finish in the end....:clap: Tough final table with VISA and SOXxxxxxx who seem to play any two caeds with a lot of sucsess....:'D |

i once saw him reraise a guy all in who hadnt played a hand in 40 mins with 2 6 other guy had queens flop 6 6 2 and that was that 3-4 hands later called all in for 7500 when he had 9000 with 10 9 hearts other guy a k flop 6 7 8 guys awful and always gets rewarded how can u CALL for 7500 when u have 9000 :eek!: |
Yes, Visa and SOXxx, I don’t seem to be able to get the better of either of them when we clash. I was running 2nd with 11 left, but a clash with SOXxxx left me short. His 7 4 off suit (which he raised pre flop with) trashing my A Q of clubs on a flop of 7 7 Q. Managed not to get all my chips in, but was 11 of 11 for a while, I still had 15 or so big blinds left so no panic.
I thought we could have played on for longer on day 1, maybe to midnight. And I was running very well on day 1. Day 2 was always going to be a long slog. From about 10pm onwards on Sunday I just wanted my bed (don’t get much sleep at the weekend). But overall I thought it was a good tournament. |

You have to be born lucky to be a winning poker player and those two definatly were...
Also you are right Herbie i dont know why it finished at 10pm on Saturday a little strange but Sunday was always going to be 6 or seven hours.. Might play the Wednesday one but cant see any sats for it today so Laddies must have forgotten.... Maybe make the blinds 20 mins and that will make the games slightly shorter. |

They have just started them Wolves..
The first was Sat and Sun..starting Sat at 6pm and pausing at 10pm then starting 6.30 Sunday to the finish which i think was around 1am.
they put some $10 sats on and a 500gtd.....got 66 runners. The Weds one is the same over WED and Thursday but i think they will make the buy in for this game a little less... There has been quite a lot of call for deepstack two day games.. These were 7500 chips 30 min blinds... |
