thanks tony it's at the stanley casino (wish it was at DTD) i won a seat at their last festival at torquay finished 5th (taken out by bruce atkinson aka elvis senior:( but still cashed 3.5k)which was nice i will keep posted on the forum about how i get on wednesday is a £100 freezeout and then friday £500 main event if i don't take laptop i'll post via my phone think it works fine now

Things not so good in wsop.....just had KQ raised to 2k one caller...flop k q a turn 6 river 3 lost 5k with his pkt 10 j why do these people come in for that soet of raise in the beginning? |
mate you get it an awful lot in online poker i fell out with online because of this reason they wouldn't call it in live games because they'd feel ashamed but as their sat behind a screen they don't care it don't even matter what stake your playing i was in a cash game holding QQ raised $10 dollars preflop
flop came Q 4 7 raised to $30 got a caller turn 8 pushed for $45 called again river came a 6 to give him a straight i was livid but what can you do |
your right Lee online poker and live is miles apart, its two different games played mainly by two different sorts of players.....much more skill in live and much more hoping in online

And im out 16th, was card dead for nearly hour and a half pushed allin with my last 6k with 10 Q suited to be called by q2 who hit a 2........good points but shame only 2 of us played...

Thanks guys yes it was a good result but unfortunatly only 2 of us played last night.
I think a few people had trouble making it as it was bank holiday weekend, numbers down on previous weeks. Anyway no racing today so i hope you are all going to have a study of The Lincoln for tomorrows first day of the flat. Good luck guys......... |
