Matt kuchar.. won the world matchplay in good style and has played well in this tournament in the past..Early price 22

Keegan bradley, similar applies to him, good result the weekend in the honda classic and playing well this term ..Early price 28

Nick watney good results at this tournament in the past , and although not quite firing in other events so far , more than capabloe of a big show ..Early price 33

outsider to back and lay

Ernie Els ..not sure hes capable these days of putting in 4 really good rounds , but ultra consistent here , and should start a reasonable enough price , so after 2 good rounds he can be layed off..Early price 82

Ive been taking a good look at this and with no cut all the field will play the four rounds.

Mcilroy had a disaster last week and on that is over pariced to bounce back here...

I just cant let him go unbacked with great lay off value if he can get his game back and that could happen here.


Westwood put up a decent show last weekend and this course will suit his game with fairways needing to be found and if he can just hole a few more putts he must be right there.


Kaymer started ok last week but dropped away fairly tamely after a poorish 3rd round. I think hes not to far away from winning again in the US and the price temps.


Harrington isnt a player i back very often but hes never gives up and that could be a great asset here. A massive price and another who will tumble in the betting if he can get off to a decent start.

im thinking i found some good value for the weekends golf , poulter,rose and garcia are available at 80/1+, 1/4 odds first 3. they are only 4 shots off a place,tiger is in control at minute but his driving is still dodgey and theres plenty of double bogeys out there for bad shots,McDowell will blow up on final day,leaderboard is quite congested and when the wind blows on sunday i have a feeling my fancies will be thereabouts.

Garcia going in the water at the last hole cost me a few bucks,he ended up in a 4 way tie for third which means my £10 e/w turns into £2-50 @ 20/1 , Garcia seems to have regained his enthusiasm for the game,unfortunately tiger is flushing his irons and will be hard to beat if he keeps it up,the masters could be the best ever this year.

Yes he played like he has come back to some sort of form and as we know loves it around Augusta...

Sergio has changed his clubs in the last few weeks and these new ones seems to have him hitting the ball better so imj sure he will be around challenging again now

Rory had a decent last round and if he is still being priced at around 22/1 for any tournement in the next few weeks should be worth a punt....:scribe:

The Arnold palmer invitational, starts this week and Tiger Woods according to the betting looks to be all the rage , but no value , so these are my bets for the tourney :

Boo weekly @ 142, looks to be playing back to some form with a T8 in the puerto rico open and T2 in the tampa bay

K J Choi @ 174 very consistent this term so far , and a poor 3rd round cost him the Tampa bay , in which he finished T21

Kevin Na @ 300 really out of sorts so far this year but dangerous to write off a palyer who loves this tournament , with a record in the last 4 runnings of T4, T11, T11 and T30. Too big a price to leave out for a small wager in my opinion

Im sticking with Rose and Garcia both 20/1 shots,it can only be a matter of weeks before one of them if not both win a tournament.

Cant be having Tiger at around 7/2....:eek!:
