We have reduced the number of tournaments to just 16 (removing week 1
and the 3 previously scheduled Monday tournaments) and we have changed
the buy-in for each weekly tournament to $20 with a $10 rebuy
(previously $15 entry & $15 rebuys). Please note that we have also

Had a funny feeling about this one, I tried to contact Sandy on face-book over the weekend but no reply, I'm guessing the response was very low for them to cancel ..
From what I'm seeing with poker both online and live, is the recession and rising costs of everything is affecting turn outs for tournament games ..

However, as I've said in previous posts I'm playing on Black Belt Poker thats on the 'ipoker' network, and this last fortnight have had fantastic turnouts for the 'cut price' tournaments .. :brains:
I'll do some investigating , I think there might be a league coming up soon with them, although it's probably not a team event ..:cool:

I've also just received the email and it is a little bit disappointing about the event being postponed but if certain factors have made it impossible for the tourney to be staged then there is very little anyone can do about it |8)|

If the tourney is re-staged at a later date, i will still be very happy to add my participation in the team!

At least with this happening i can try and focus my poker energies on attempting to qualify for UKIPT Manchester in March.
