deserved the points just, but any team with a left footed right winger/midfielder,4' 6'' Marveaux,Vernon Anita who must weigh 6 stone when his jersey is wet,Danny Simpson whom I personally believe is a cocaine addict and Shola [off-side]Amoebi in their team are bound to struggle,i dont know what the score is with yellow, pink, blue, white football boots, personally i think it makes them look like a bunch of twats, should be entertaining next sunday, red cards are a knocking bet.

Dont know what Di Canio said to them at half time but by my mates accounts who were there Sunderland looked a totally different team in the second half

Played really well in the first but shocking in the second........:h?:

I watched it their first goal was unbelievable and knocked our confidence. Chelseas second was very lucky as well. When your lucks out your lucks out.

never really understand how lack of confidence can effect players, players have fantastic lifestyles and train all week for a 90 minute performance, yet come match day, where they get to show they are proffesionals and can ply there trade, most of them bottle it and are frightened to play positively,Obertan for newcastle is best example I have, bags of pace, regularly skins the fullback and instead of attacking goal, he checks back and plays a negative backward pass,he should treat the penalty area like a fanny and nothing on earth should keep him out of it when the chance reveals itself. I dont think newcastle have scored with a header from a corner kick all season and I know why, not one of them twats in a black and white jersey leaves the ground to attack the ball. our players try to win corners but whats the point if we cannot score from one. I believe todays result was massive for us and will keep us in premier league, but we must get shot of players next year,Simpson,Anita,Obertan,Shola,Marveaux are simply not good enough,Santon,Guiterrez,Tiote need to have psychiatric treatment as I believe they have talent but rarely show it, Steve Taylor tries but I believe his IQ might be in the negative. We nearly signed Remy at xmas and i hope qpr go down and we try to get him again, he makes runs for fun which allows the rest of team to play forward attacking passes. Bring back Andy Carrol too which will give another option upfront, a centr half who can defend and toon are sorted for next season, its easy really, we ploay benfica thursday, have a go at them I would rather get beat 10-5 than watch rubbish negative football, Sunderlands plight is there own making, been too negative all season and how do change this mentality with 6 games to go ? I do truly hope they stay up as I love derby days.

That 1st half performance was like chalk and cheese compared to any other 45mins of football we played all season.

I think PDC has hit the nail on the head when it comes to fitness, it was always a concern under MON and I think PDC has exposed that MON failing hugely in one game.

I think Chelski were always going to be too strong* for us but for 15mins between the halfs there was a glimmer of hope of picking up points.

I feel much more confident of staying up now, that 1st half performance was a real confidence booster, we had an attacking intent :eek!: and played like a team rather than a collection of individuals, Sess has come to life and it bodes well for next weekend and visiting the thicko's up the road, I think a point is the least we can expect against the french and what price for one of the managers to be sent to the stands ??

*Mata and Hazard are world class imo and Bertrand terrorised us for 90mins and he's a left back !!

You better believe it, I can't remember the last time a derby was so crucial.

There's a high probability I'll be excited, worried, swearing, whinging, happy, grumpy and possibly even spitting my dummy out by Sunday evening !!!
