Default Big races in the upcoming weeks

Thursday 20th September.
All eyes are turned to YARMOUTH for the final of the East Anglian Derby where John Mullins' trained Mark Currell owned Blonde Buster heads the market at 6/4 best. Not ideally drawn in 4 with kennelmate Black taxi in trap 3 likely to move right out of the boxes and collide with Blonde Buster. Both are early paced sorts that could ruin each others chances. And i fancy the Mark Wallis Trained KILLER KEANE ideally drawn in trap 1 to take full advantage of a plot draw. Keane will go up to the bend level with the field but will hold his inside pitch and draw away down the back and makes an appeal at 3/1 offered with Coral and is worth quite a lump IMO.

Also on Thursday we have the MANCHESTER PUPPY CUP FINAL at Belle Vue. This race often produces stars of the future with none other than FEAR ME winning the race in 2005. This final looks all about NOIRS WILD to me a dog that looks to have great potential and a very bright future ahead of him scorching round in the semi final in a flying 27.46 (only 5 spots off the great GEORDIE PARKER'S track record) He can trap out well and tuck in behind the likely early leader in DROOPYS SHEEHEY and take it up rounding the 3rd and 4th bend and pull clear upto the line! At a best price of 6/4 looks the one worth siding with.

At reading on thursday we have the 2nd round of the £20k to the winner READING MASTERS. The heats kick off at 8.05 with impressive 1st round winners BOWER TURBO and KILGRANEY AGASSI against each other along with the hugely talented and well drawn Blonde Jeannie. Mulcair Jo in trap 3 will be looking to blast from the traps and take them along early which could play into the hands of BOWER TURBO a strong running sort who should pick Jo up on the run in providing he can get 1st run on Blonde Jeannie in trap 1. The Seamus Cahill trained Noirs Ted and Kilgraney Agassi drawn in 5 and 6 look potential hazards to each other and are worth leaving alone in the heat.

selection 2-1-5

In the 2nd heat at 8.35 this looks made for Scottish Derby Hero FEAR HARIBO to comfortably progress through to the semi-finals a nice draw with railer cleenas lady on his direct inside who will move rails on the run up can see 4 turn in front. Cleenas Lady looks to have a bad draw in 3 but it may not be as bad as it seems with 2 rags inside her she can make the bend 2nd and qualify easy.

4-3-6

8.50 All about 1 dog here VIPAR TOTTI is a class above any of his rivals here. smash out and goodnight! CANNOT GET BEAT LUMP ON. Watch out for DANGEROUS RAY finishing stronly for 3rd. He does live upto his name as he is a RAVING SCREW! Dangerous by name dangerous by nature!!!

4-5-6

9.05 Following the withdrawel of Too Risky (broken metacarpel in 1st round) It makes it look an easy assignment for Blonde Dino. The current Favourite in the market can safely secure his place in the 2nd round with another slick exit he will stretch clear and maintain the gallop to the winning line to win by at least 5 lengths IMO.

5-4-2

9.35 Blakes world will be looking to lead early and can do so by slipping inside Kiss My Cash at the 1st bend he can hold on comfortably in a weak looking heat. Snazzy rover has plenty of pace but can be erratic.

5-1-6

9.50 Last of the night 2nd round heats and BRICKFIELD CLASS can overcome another poor draw to take the spoils. Will lead at the 1st bend and pull away in what looks like a race of front runners!

5-6-2

ONTO friday night, we have the final of the CHAMPIONS STAKES at Romford. Last years winner EYE ON THE VETO current best priced at 6/4 will take all the beating here using his early pace to take him into the lead rounding the 1st 2 bends avoiding likely trouble as Lenson Joker will be looking to move right on the run up interferring with JAZZ HURRICANE.

On the supporting card the enigmatic Romford Car Two in the 8.48 takes a noted drop in class and will make all. In the puppy final Barnfield Haveit impressed in the heats on monday and can take gold!
