Ahhh, well there's a whiff in the air of autumn and the National Hunt season is ready to break out in bloom
So with the flat season getting ready to close it's doors , we're going for our first stike of the jumps season at Sedgefield in a 'Novice Chase'.

2.40 'Pretty Reckless' (6/1) e/way 3rd behind the 'Fav' - place will do us

Good luck 'peeps'

It's a busy weekend and the 'Horse Whisperer' has three each way chances for us - all have been backed this morning

Poets Dream (6/1) 1:45 Thirsk - Wow 1st - 7/1 .Oh how easy was that, led and just drew away
Rake's Progress (14/1) 3:55 Ascot - 0 - Led til 2 out then faded
Ice Lord (15/2) 5:05 Ascot - Oh What !! 1st - 6/1 ..Looked tailed off at halfway, the came storming up the rail to win cozy

Little e/w patent and each way singles should be the answer

Good luck all

Over in Ireland at Listowel today, our man say that 'Ben Button' looks a solid bet for the Willie Mullins yard
He also thinks the yard could go very close with their other two jumpers on the same card ..

Ben Button (6/5) 5:50 Listowel (Nap) 1st . Evsf ..Oyi Oyi Ruby :) ..
Lagostovegas (11/4) 5:20 Listowel .. 1st . 5/2f
Bosman Rule (5/1) 4:50 Listowel .. 0

Win each and a small E/W Treble

Default Fri 15th Sept

Back over in Ireland with the Listowel meeting again and after yesterdays winners our man has some interesting thoughts.

He likes the chances of the well bred 'Aherlow' in the 5.20 and in the NH flat race the Willie Mullins horse 'Koroleva ' in the 5.50

One other in the 4.50 'West Light' looks a good e/way bet of bottom weight in this 16runner h'cp

4.50 . West Light (20/1) .. 3rd - Ran a nice race into 3rd .. Gambled (25/1 into 12/1)
5.20 . Aherlow (100/30) .. 2nd - No chance in the straight behind hot fav (Returned 4/1)
5.50 . Koroleva (6/4) ..Nap 0 - hmm - last of the 7 runners

Add a small e/w treble .. just in case

Default Sat - Sept 16th

Busy day and our man over in Ireland at Listowel has what looks like a nice e/way (big price) chance' Marygale Bridge' returning to hurdles after 191 days since last run with several attempts over the big obsticles.
Now off bottom weight (10-4) in this heavy ground could spring a surprise..
He also has a couple of short price 'favs' that should oblige..

Also 'The Horse Whisperer' has two for us at Doncaster .

Marygale Bridge (28/1) 3:25 Listowel .. PU made mistakes and pulled up

Rathvinden (4/6) 5:10 Listowel . 1st . 4/6 ..easy winner
Brahma Bull (7/4) 5:40 Listowel . 1st . 3/1 .. Nicely does it, always led

Aclaim (9/4) 2:25 Doncaster ... 1st . 3/1
Red Mist (7/2) 3:00 Doncaster ..0

Good luck us .. Oh plus a small e/w acca ..

Remember this one - we told you then and here's where she goes next ..

Betty F pleases in Cheveley Park prep (September 21st 2017)

Betty F delighted connections in a racecourse gallop at Newmaket on Thursday morning ahead of the Cheveley Park Stakes.

The daughter of Frankel worked over five and a half furlongs in the hands of Frankie Dettori and finished upsides one of her two work companions.

Trainer Jeremy Noseda is hoping she will have benefited from the experience and is looking forward to running her in the Group One over six furlongs, even though she has only had the one previous outing.

That was in a maiden on the July course, which she won comfortably.

"We're happy and delighted. She will go to the Cheveley Park and Frankie will ride her," said Noseda.

"She's a filly with lots of talent. In an ideal scenario we could have done with another race in her preparation, but the filly only arrived in time to have that run at Newmarket.

"Thanks to Michael (Prosser, clerk of the course) for allowing us to come here and work on the track.

"She's got enough quality in my opinion to take part in the race. We've had our racecourse gallop today and that will help with our preparation.

"It's the first time Frankie has sat on her and he liked the filly. My hope is she's learnt enough today and got enough out of it.

"She didn't need anything for fitness. We just wanted the experience."

Noseda is following a similar path to one he pursued with Carry On Katie. She went straight from a debut success in a maiden to winning the Lowther Stakes at York and then the Cheveley Park in 2003.

"Carry On Katie went straight from a maiden to winning the Lowther and we'll keep our fingers crossed for a similar scenario," he said.
